Jantzen, our Master Rod Builder has included ALPS-VS3 Triple Bridge High Frame TiCH/Zirc spinning guides with a TiCH Burlwood reel seat and handle accents, a TiCH hinged hook keeper and a “Counter Balanced” Black Fighting  butt cap.

The BACKWOODS Jantzen Maxx Platinum Hybrid TCX Spinning rod is meticulously handcrafted using our NEW Rainshadow RX8 High Modulus Graphite/Carbon Fibre Scrim TCX Hybrid Rod blank in Titanium Chrome. The additional features found in the TCX blanks put these rods at a level of World Class and extreme performance! They cast further and are extremely sensitive as well as possessing improved lifting power, higher hook setting percentages and provide optimum control while fighting trophy fish. We’ve added Titanium hinged hook keepers, Earth Tone Burlwood Reel Seat inserts (Stabilized), with Titanium hood adjusters and Portuguese Tri-Cork or Straight Cork fore grips and handles. Exclusively, we are using VS3 (Triple Bridge) Titanium Zirconium low carbon steel spinning guides. These rods are finished with quality windings and trim rings coated in clear epoxy finish coats. To achieve perfection in balance we include a Gunsmoke counter balanced butt cap on every rod.
